Vitamin C Gummies
Ingredients
  • 3Tablespoons Changing Habits Grass Fed Beef Gelatinmixed with 4 Tbsp of filtered water and put aside
  • 2 Large Lemons – juiced
  • 1 Orange – juicedoptional. If you’re trying to reduce sugar, just use lemons & stevia
  • 1 Liposomal sachetOr your choice of Vitamin C sources mentioned above.
  • Fewdrops Stevia to tasteOr Manuka or other choice of honey
Instructions
  1. Place gelatin and filtered water in a bowl and stir til well combined. Leave to bloom.
  2. Juice your choice of citrus fruit. You should aim for about 1 cup of juice.
  3. Place bloomed gelatin in a heavy bottomed saucepan, add low to medium heat and stir constantly until gelatin is dissolved.
  4. Pour in citrus juice and either Camu Camu or Kakadu Plum powder if using, and stir well until just before boiling point.
  5. Take off heat and stir in honey or stevia to taste.
  6. If you are using Liposomal Vitamin C, wait until mix has cooled but not set to whisk it in.
  7. Pour into moulds or glass dish to set. Should be ready within 30 mins. Remove from mould or slice into squares if using glass dish and store in airtight container.
  8. Note: You can freeze these and thaw out before eating. I often freeze half of my batch and add a frozen one to Meika’s lunch box and it’s ready by the time she eats it.
