Ingredients
  • 1cup Cacao butter wafers
  • Sweetener of choice to tastemaple syrup, honey, organic rice malt syrup or stevia to taste
  • 1Cup Organic Raw Cacao powder
  • 1-2Drops of either orange or peppermint food grade essential oilsOptional if not using other fruits and nuts
  • 1 tsp Ceylon CinnamonI use Changing Habits
  • 1/4 cup Coconut oil
Instructions
  1. Heat some water on a low heat in a saucepan. Place a stainless steel mixing bowl over the saucepan and add your cacao butter and coconut oil and stir. You can just add straight into saucepan if you don’t have a stainless bowl
  2. Once melted, gradually add in the raw cacao powder while whisking until smooth. Add cinnamon now.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir through your sweetener of choice, essential oil of choice. If you are using nuts, dried fruit, coconut or frozen berries, add them to the moulds before pouring chocolate mixture in.
  4. Pour the dark chocolate mixture into moulds or a small lined slice tray or cake tin and place in the freezer for approx 30mins to set .
  5. Once ready pop them out of the moulds or slice into squares and place into a storage container in the freezer.
